Discover the hidden gem of New South Wales with this 1 hour guided cruise of the Broken Bay Pearl Farm. Situated on the lower Hawkesbury river, you’ll head to the saltwater paddocks and discover why this environment is ideal for growing oysters of all varieties. Find out how these amazing organisms give back to people and place, and keep an eye out for the incredible marine wilderness below, while learning about the intricate details of the locally grown Australian Akoya pearl. Your guide will take you through the journey of an oyster from spawning through to selection for seafood or pearl production.
The tour vessel has a canopy with open sides. Tour will go ahead in light rains and winds. Please come prepared with warm clothing, windbreaker and/or raincoat. Customers will be contacted and offered rebooking or refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather conditions.
