The holding company will now sell the AI software called Albert, which RedBalloon used for its electronic marketing efforts, to anyone who wants it.

Shark Tank star and RedBalloon founder Naomi Simson is taking aim at the buzzing digital marketing world with a major artificial intelligence deal, she believes will "revolutionise" digital marketing in Australia.
RedBalloon's newly formed parent company, The Big Red Group (BRG), has secured exclusive rights as a reseller of artificial intelligence marketing platform 'Albert', across Australia and New Zealand.
Simson says Albert is set to “revolutionise digital marketing for countless businesses across Australia”. Its aim is to drive down customer acquisition costs and increase positive commercial outcomes for Australian businesses.
There are close to two million small businesses in Australia. One of the greatest challenges each and every one of these companies face is finding, and keeping, customers. Competition is tough. According to RedBalloon Founder Naomi Simson, for each small business to be an expert in marketing, sales, finance, and people leadership – and everything from SEO to GST – is at best expensive, and at worst impossible.
That’s why, for more than 15 years, RedBalloon has set about marketing on behalf of thousands of small ‘things to do’ businesses via the RedBalloon website. In 2016 the company also extended this approach to new, innovative and creative products by offering similar marketing services to Australian manufacturers and start-ups via its recently launched wrapped.com business.
“Starting a business is the easy bit,” says Simson, author of Ready to Soar and Red Shark on Channel Ten’s Shark Tank. See Naomi’s ‘Journey of an Entrepreneur’ infographic here.

Another year has passed and it is International Women’s Day again and the media will commentate on the gender pay gap, the lack of women in leadership, and the continued unconscious bias against women in many areas of the work landscape.
What about female founders and business owners – what of their gender experience?
Many women choose to start their own business for a sense of freedom and to remove themselves from the bias in the workplace. I know I did – sick of the lack of flexibility in corporate life – wanting to be both a parent and have a full and interesting career, I started my own business when my children were two and four.

RedBalloon is offering a plethora of new and unique experiences to customers as the experiential gifting space heats up.
Upping the ante from last year's new range of offerings – such as an inflatable flamingo white water rafting and V8 parasailing, this April 1 the online gift retailer is catering to every family member.
The most expensive, and likely to be the most popular, is the water tasting class – conducted by a certified water sommelier and fully endorsed by celebrity chef Pete Evans. The class, priced at $300 per head, is 100% paleo friendly.

The tongue-in-cheek campaign for Valentines Day is the second for Mac, who last year worked with The Bachelorette’s Dave Billsborrow to help him impress his girlfriend.
