During summer, bays on the south offer protection in the mornings from the prevailing easterly winds. By afternoon the famous Fremantle doctor comes in the south-west making the bays to the north such as The Basin, Parakeet Bay and Little Armstrong Bay the best.
There is no drinking water or food available outside the Thomson Bay and the Geordie Bay settlement areas, so don’t forget your supplies - water, lunch, sun cream, bathers, towel and camera are essentials!
Full day tour everyday departing Fremantle from 7.30am and returning till 6:15pm (depart Rottnest at 4:25pm) operates daily excluding Christmas Day 25th December and Rottnest Channel Swim Day.
The operation is weather dependant and will be assisted at the time if services are cancelled
Package price includes the compulsory $20 Rottnest Island Admission Fee. The Experience Rottnest bike hire package is a self guided tour.
